HomeFrontpageA Message About the Coronavirus Pandemic:
The leadership of At Jacob’s Well has been monitoring the progress of the coronavirus since it was first reported in mid-January in China.  As such,  our team has ensured that our residents and staff are well informed of how to protect themselves from possible infection. We have established a check-in protocol for the residents’ safety and are working with the City of Baltimore’s Mayor’s Office of Homeless Services to ensure that our residents’ needs are being met during these uncertain times.  AJW has worked to stock up on basic cleaning supplies, toiletries and food stuff for our residents, but we will continue to accept donations of much needed food stuff, toiletries and cleaning supplies during this period.  Please call ahead to let us know when donating so that we can have assistance on hand to help with the unloading.
While we never know what has been planned for us, we must always trust that it is never more then we can bear.  Here at AJW, we pray that all of our supporters, family members and friends are kept safe and secure from harm.   Please keep those who have been called to heal and serve the sick in your thoughts and prayers.
A prayer for those who work in the medical arts
We come before you now, O God, with the knowledge that you have created us and are also able to restore us.  Because you are the great physician, we pray for those whom you use to perform your works of healing.  We rejoice that your spirit leads men and women to become health care professionals.  We thank and praise you for the miracles you perform through them.

Dear God, keep our minds open to new truths concerning the cause and cure of disease.  Help us to realize that our talents and knowledge are gifts from you, to be used to serve all people of the world.  Most of all, we ask that you fill the hearts of medical professionals everywhere with your love, patience and compassion and keep them safe while they perform your healing works for your people on earth.  In your name we pray.  Amen.
